It seems like a miracle. Although its not overnight but the change is palpable. Eighteen months since I left my homeland wandering away for peace, prosperity and knowledge. Coming back from the la-la land and stepping into the congested, contaminated and convoluted parts of Delhi produced a choking effect that was hard to ingest. Landing was hard and the drive back home even harder. The abrupt change was irritating and sometimes blood curdling. It took a couple of days to survive but sooner the essence of the air blended nicely with the blood and the past started to impinge upon the present. I’ve seen cheap labor carrying hoardings of a new Mc. Donalds inaugurated in the vicinity. But a new chapter seemed to be opening up.
